WIKING Miro 3

The Miro 3 with side glass and wood storage pairs clean Danish styling with a taller, more “architectural” presence. The large front window and side glass panels make the flames visible from multiple angles, while the integrated wood store keeps logs neatly tucked beneath the firebox.

A bright, open combustion chamber and efficient burn system deliver strong performance with clean, comfortable heat. With its compact footprint, corner-friendly shape, and practical log storage, it’s designed to be as easy to live with as it is to admire.

No oxygen, no fire. It’s that simple. That is why a constant flow of air to the wood-burning stove is needed to create clean and effective combustion in your HWAM.

Today’s homes must be both energy efficient and environmentally friendly, and they are therefore very well-insulated. This makes good sense, but it can be a problem when it comes to your wood-burning stove having a sufficient amount of air – which is important for building a proper fire.

The solution lies in a fresh air system, which ensures a constant flow of air to the wood-burning stove. HWAM’s fresh air system creates air circulation that is almost completely impermeable.

In a WIKING wood-burning stove, the regulation of air during lighting and re-stoking is managed automatically through the WIKING® Automatic™ device.

A heat-sensitive bimetallic spring expands or contracts depending on the temperature in the wood-burning stove. When lighting the fire, the damper will be open to ensure that the flames are supplied with the correct amount of air to get the fire started. The following quick rise in temperature will automatically cause the damper to close, thus ensuring clean and efficient combustion. When the fire starts to die out, the damper opens automatically again to allow for new firewood to be added or to let the fire die out.

WIKING® Automatic™ offers many advantages:

  • Better comfort
  • Easier lighting
  • Clean and efficient combustion
  • Minor impact on the environment
